*Air Products achieved its initial 20% goal set in October 2020 for minority representation in U.S. professional and managerial roles and in November 2021 set a new goal of 30% representation in these roles by 2025.

We aim to be the safest and most profitable industrial gas company in the world, providing excellent service to our customers. We also aim to be the most diverse across our broad operating scope and growing cultural landscape of more than 21,000 employees in over 50 countries. 

Our innovative recruiting strategies help strengthen our pipeline of diverse talent―in 2019, 55% of our college hires were diverse. And we've set out clear goals for the future, including achieving at least 28% female representation in professional and managerial roles globally and 30% minority representation in the same roles in the U.S. by 2025. Our goal is to reflect the places where we do business and to fully utilize the available talent in those places―and as such, we're building a more diverse and inclusive culture within our business. 

Creating an inclusive culture.

Making sure everyone's voice is heard means creating a respective and inclusive culture where employees seek out diverse perspectives and feel empowered to confidently express their viewpoints and take action to create meaningful change. 

To help create that culture, our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) create supportive communities to help attract and retain talent, raise cultural awareness and competence, develop critical skills and contribute to our diversity and inclusion objectives. Working together as an Inclusion Network, the ERGs sponsor activities and programs for all employees, including workshops, panel discussions, awareness training and professional development sessions.

We also invest in our diverse talent through specific inclusive leadership development programs, recognize colleagues' contributions through our Peer-to-Peer Recognition program, promote a holistic approach for all individuals through our Health & Wellness team, and offer flexible working to allow employees to manage when and where they most effectively get their work done.
